Love Test in 6 Questions

Six questions, about two minutes. The medium test picks one of five themes (relationship dynamics, emotional intimacy, daily life, communication or your shared future) and digs a little deeper than the quick version.

🔒 Your answers stay in your browser: we never store or share them.

Six questions on one theme

The medium test picks one of five themes at random, then asks you six questions about it. Where the quick test touches a theme in three questions, this one looks at it from several sides:

  • The foundations: whether your partner tells you they love you, makes sacrifices for you, puts your happiness first, introduces you to their family and friends, listens when you share your feelings and handles conflict with care.
  • Emotional intimacy: how comfortable you are being vulnerable, how your partner comforts you in hard times, understands your emotional needs, makes you feel valued and responds to your pain, and how much emotional closeness you share.
  • Everyday partnership: how you share daily tasks, whether your efforts are noticed, how you spend quality time, how your partner supports your goals, how you handle stress together and whether you feel secure.
  • Communication and understanding: how openly you discuss important matters, whether your partner understands your point of view, shows affection without words, handles disappointment, makes you laugh and shows that they are thinking of you.
  • The future: how your partner talks about your shared future, how you grow together, handle big decisions and face change and uncertainty, and whether you feel truly loved.

How your score is calculated

Each of the six questions has four answers. The most positive is worth 25 points and the least positive 5; the two others are usually worth 20 and 15. The test adds up your points and divides the total by 150, the maximum, to give a percentage between 20% and 100%.

For example, answers worth 25, 25, 20, 20, 15 and 5 points add up to 110 out of 150, which rounds to 73%. One very low answer has pulled the score down, yet the result stays in the second-highest band. With six questions, a single answer moves the score by about 13 points at most: enough to matter, not enough to decide everything on its own.

Nothing you answer leaves your browser. Our audience statistics only count that a test was started and completed, with its final score (see our privacy policy).

How to read your result

The score places you in one of six bands, each with its own message:

  • 85 to 100%They absolutely adore you! 💕
  • 70 to 84%Your partner loves you deeply 💖
  • 55 to 69%There's real love here 💗
  • 40 to 54%Love is present, but complex 💙
  • 25 to 39%There's affection, but not deep love 💤
  • Under 25%Love might not be the primary feeling 💔

The number tells you less than the answers themselves. Think back to the question where you hesitated most, or where you picked the least positive answer: that is probably the subject to talk about. Depending on the theme you got, some of our guides go further. On emotional intimacy, read how to build trust and intimacy. On communication, see how to improve communication in your relationship. On daily life, how to keep the spark alive offers concrete rituals. And to understand why your partner may show love differently from you, the love languages guide is a good place to start.

Limits to keep in mind

This test is a tool for reflection, not a scientific measure or a diagnosis, and its questions have not been scientifically validated. It records your own perception of your partner at a given moment, not their feelings.

Since each attempt draws a new theme, two scores from two attempts do not measure the same thing: compare the themes, not just the numbers. For a broader view, the detailed ten-question test covers more ground in one go. And if your doubts are about fear or control rather than love, read our article on relationship red flags first.
