Quick Love Test: 3 Questions

Three questions, about a minute. Each time, the test draws one of five themes at random (communication, emotional connection, daily habits, conflict or your future together) and gives you an instant love score. A good first check; for a fuller picture, try a longer test.

🔒 Your answers stay in your browser: we never store or share them.

What the three questions cover

When you press "Start the test", the quick test draws one of five themes at random and asks you its three questions:

  • Words and attention: how often your partner tells you they love you, how much your happiness matters to them, whether they remember the dates and moments that count for you.
  • Emotional connection: how well they understand your emotions, how they comfort you when you are upset, how much you trust them with your vulnerabilities.
  • Daily life: the quality time you spend together each day, how you handle routines as a pair, how they show appreciation for your efforts.
  • Disagreements: how you resolve conflicts, how openly you talk about your needs, how they apologize when they are wrong.
  • The future: how they talk about your future together, how you make big decisions, how they support your personal growth.

Each question also exists in ten wordings, picked at random. Two people who take the quick test on the same day will rarely read exactly the same three questions.

How your score is calculated

Each question offers four answers, from the most positive to the least. The most positive is worth 25 points, the least positive 5 points, and the two in between usually 20 and 15. Your score is your total divided by the maximum possible, 75 points, expressed as a percentage.

Say you choose answers worth 25, 20 and 15 points: that makes 60 out of 75, a score of 80%. Because the least positive answer still earns 5 points, the lowest possible score is 20%, and the highest is 100%.

With three questions, each answer weighs heavily. Changing a single answer can move your score by up to 27 points, enough to move you one or even two bands up or down. That is the price of speed, and the reason to read a quick result as a snapshot rather than a verdict.

The calculation happens in your browser: your answers are never sent to us. Our audience statistics only record that a test was started and finished, with its final score (details in our privacy policy).

How to read your result

Your score falls into one of six bands, each with its own message:

  • 85 to 100%They absolutely adore you! 💕
  • 70 to 84%Your partner loves you deeply 💖
  • 55 to 69%There's real love here 💗
  • 40 to 54%Love is present, but complex 💙
  • 25 to 39%There's affection, but not deep love 💤
  • Under 25%Love might not be the primary feeling 💔

Below the result, a "Read next" block suggests two articles matched to your band: keeping the spark alive and love languages from 70%, communication and trust between 40% and 69%, warning signs and communication below 40%.

What a quick test cannot tell you

This test is a light-hearted starting point, not a scientific instrument or a diagnosis: its questions have not been scientifically validated. It reflects how you see your partner's behavior today, on a single theme, not what your partner feels. A tense week, a recent argument or a passing doubt will color your answers, and that is perfectly normal.

If the result surprises you, there are two good next steps. The first is to take a longer test: the six-question test explores one theme from more angles, and the ten-question test gives a steadier score. The second, often more useful, is to turn the questions into a conversation: ask your partner the same questions and listen to the reasons behind their answers. Finally, if your doubts are about fear, control or pressure rather than about love, the score hardly matters. Read our article on relationship red flags: it lists the signs never to ignore and where to find help.
